EBO Group’s Management has outstanding talent and experience throughout the organization. Our Ownership Culture is a magnet that attracts, grows, and retains talented, dedicated employees. Employee turnover is extremely low. We have great depth of experience at every level of the company. The following are biographies on some of our key management personnel.
 
Dave Heidenreich, Chairman and CEO of EBO Group. Dave was a founder of PT Tech and served as President from 1978 to 1995. He has been involved in power and energy industries for 40 years and has more than 20 U.S. patents. In addition to authoring the book, Exponential Solar in 2007, Dave heads EBO Group’s development efforts in areas of alternative energy. He is a 1965 BSME graduate of Stevens Institute of Technology, and a Professional Engineer in the state of Ohio.
 
Keith Nichols, President EBO Group and PT Tech. Keith joined the company in 1981 while finishing his BS Mechanical Technology degree at The University of Akron. In 1985 he earned an MBA, also from The University of Akron. Keith was promoted to VP of Operations in 1990 and President in 1995. He has been involved in the industrial drive components industry for 25 years and a co-inventor on 6 U.S. patents. Keith actively promotes employee ownership and is an Advisor for the Ohio chapter of the nationally recognized ESOP Association. Keith also serves as an industry advisor for The University of Akron’s Mechanical Technology program.
 
Ralph Rogers, Vice President of Marketing EBO Group. Ralph has been involved in the industrial power train component marketplace since 1977. A graduate of the University of Virginia’s Engineering School, Ralph has been involved in sales, marketing, engineering and production of clutches, brakes and drive shafts for the steel, recycling, mining and tunnel boring markets. Since joining PT Tech in 1990, Ralph has consistently demonstrated an ability to spot opportunities that match well with the organization’s innovative development capability, including the CDB and HPTO product lines. Ralph’s current role is focused on Sales and Marketing for both TransMotion Medical and PT Tech.
 











 
 
Gregg Cullings, Vice President of Sales EBO Group and Chief Operating Officer, PT Tech. A 1985 BSME graduate of Cornell University, and a 1997 MBA graduate of Syracuse University, Gregg has 16 years of experience in the application and selling of power transmission systems spanning a diverse range of applications and markets. Gregg joined the company in 1995 and since 1999, has served in managerial roles, directing the company’s sales and engineering efforts.












 
Tom Richards, Manufacturing & Materials Manager, EBO Group. Tom joined EBO Group in July of 1988. He is a 1982 graduate of the University of Akron with a Manufacturing Engineering Technology degree and an MBA degree from Kent State University in 1994. Tom heads all of the manufacturing and materials management activities for EBO Group, including all subsidiaries.
Joe Guinter, General Manager of Engine Products. Joe has been involved with the application, design, sales and service of power transmission devices his whole career and has been at PT Tech since 1997. He graduated with a BS in Mechanical Engineering Technology from the University of Dayton in 1991. Joe has a passion for both new product and new customer development. He has been actively involved in the creation and growth of PT Tech's diesel engine related products.
 
Bob Herchick, Engineering Manager, EBO Group. Since joining the team at EBO Group in 1990, Bob has played a key role in the success of the company. His progressive and ambitious attitude toward his projects earned his promotion to Engineering Manager in 2005. He is both a graduate of Stark Technical College (1988) and earned a BSMET with Cum Laude honors from the University of Akron (1999). He has been issued 4 patents as well as championing the development of important product lines for PT Tech and TransMotion Medical.
 
Jim Doutt, Manager of Business Development, EBO Group. Jim joined EBO Group in July, 2008 and is leading the commercialization efforts for eZE hybrid drives. Jim’s background includes 10 years as the Executive Director of the Medina County Economic Development Corporation and more than 10 years of extensive work with alternative fuel systems such as LPG and CNG, including retrofitting vehicle fleets. He is a graduate of Ohio University, where he earned both a Bachelors Degree in 1972 and Masters Degree in 1974.
 
Ryan Yerkey, Chief Operating Officer, TransMotion Medical. Ryan joined EBO Group in 2006. He is a 1995 graduate of the University of Dayton with a Manufacturing Engineering Technology degree and an MBA from Cleveland State University in 1998. Ryan has 13 years of experience in production operations procurement, sourcing, and manufacturing engineering. He served as Materials Manager over consolidated production and purchasing for EBO Group, including all subsidiaries for three years.  Then in 2009 he was promoted to Chief Operating Officer of TransMotion Medical.
 
Michael Maske, Vice President of Sales, TransMotion Medical. Mike came to TransMotion Medical in 2006 and serves as the National Sales Manager. He graduated from Arizona State University in 2003 with a BS Degree in Communication and has over six years of sales experience. Mike also served in the US Air Force Reserves and Army National Guard from 1992-2004, serving in Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003 in Oman.
 
Ray Failor, International Consultant, TransMotion Medical. Ray joined EBO Group in 2002 to launch the TransMotion Medical company. Ray has been directly involved in the development, marketing and manufacturing of medical patient handling and treatment products since 1968. He has more than a dozen U.S. patents and is dedicated to creating innovative medical products that enhance treatment and safety for the patient and medical staff. In 2009 he retired and became a consultant for TransMotion Medical for recruitment and retention of international distributors/dealers.
